Random Country Generator
Draw random countries from the full list of 195 (UN members plus observers) — for geography practice, travel daydreaming, model-UN assignments and trivia. Batches never repeat a country.
What's in the list
The pool is all 193 UN member states plus the two observer states (Vatican City and Palestine) — the standard "195 countries" answer, under their common English short names (Czechia, Ivory Coast, Timor-Leste).
Draws are uniform — Tuvalu comes up exactly as often as China — which is what makes it useful for quizzes: the obscure fifth of the list finally gets airtime.

FAQ
Why 195 countries?+
193 UN member states plus 2 permanent observers (Vatican City, Palestine) — the most widely used count. Territories and partially recognized states (Taiwan, Kosovo, Greenland) aren't in the UN list; an "include territories" option is planned.
Can I limit to a continent?+
Continent filters are planned. For now, re-roll past regions you're not practicing — the batch mode makes that fast.
Which name spellings are used?+
Common English short names: Czechia, Ivory Coast, Timor-Leste, Eswatini. Quiz answers using older names (Czech Republic, Swaziland) obviously still count — that's between you and your friends.
